When you create an account we collect your name, email address, age group (13–17 or 18+), and the tester details you choose to share: your role, main sport, area, experience level, and optionally your Instagram handle.
We also store how you use the app: the teams you follow, the scouting reports you request, and your search counts, so we can enforce weekly limits and show your recent reports.
Watchlist is open to users aged 13 and older. If you are under 18, please get a parent or guardian's permission before signing up. We collect the same limited information from all users and never knowingly collect more from younger users. Parents or guardians may contact us at any time to review or delete a minor's account.
We use your information to run the service: signing you in, generating and saving scouting reports, enforcing weekly search limits, and showing your followed teams. During the pilot, admins can see tester account details (name, email, role, sport, area, experience, Instagram, activity counts) to manage the tester group.
We do not sell your information, show ads, or share your data with advertisers.
Scouting reports summarize publicly available information about scheduled high school games and varsity athletes — stats, rankings, and news coverage. We never include off-field personal matters. Any athlete or parent can request removal from all reports through our opt-out page, and opted-out athletes are excluded from every future report.
We use a small number of providers to operate the app: hosting and database (Lovable Cloud), email delivery for sign-in confirmations, and AI services that generate report text from public web sources. These providers process data only as needed to run the service.
You can edit your profile details at any time on your Profile page. To delete your account or ask any privacy question, contact us and we will take care of it promptly.
If we change this policy we will update the date above. Continued use of Watchlist after a change means you accept the updated policy.
